The climate asks our opulent western world to retool and reduce its carbon impact by three quarters. At half the weight and one quarter the resistance to motion, good multihulls already fit the bill. But their width makes them unfriendly to our crowded marinas and on highways. Presenter Peter Walford shows stock and original designs that trailer and telescope to change all that. As well, green cred requires an efficient build strategy, sustainable materials, and intentional end-of-life disposal. His past boating includes three trailerable trimarans, powerboats, a few catamarans, offshore and inshore racing, building, liveaboard and 30 years of Pacific Northwest cruising.
