Joy In Mudville features Jason Mogi’s mesmerizing clawhammer banjo and soaring lead guitar, Kim Trenerry’s driving rhythm guitar, Paul Stehr-Green’s rich bass grooves, and Terry Smith’s complex, compelling rhythms on the drums.  Seamlessly combining a variety of influences ranging from old-time bluegrass to jam-band to rock to funk to blues, their music is rich with deep rhythms, tight three-part harmonies, and clever arrangements which result in danceable grooves and memorable melodies.
